When you are very limited on space, you need to utilise every inch that you have available. And this means that you can’t leave your shoes unempty! You could easily stuff some smaller items inside such as socks or underwear in there.

Take the Electronic Option

If you are a big reader when you are on holiday, you can save yourself a lot of space, weight and probably money by downloading the books onto an e-reader or tablet. You should also take the time to download any apps which may be useful such as maps, phrasebooks, a torch etc. While you are at it, it is well worth photocopying any essential documents so that you always have them to-hand.
