While we are starting to get back to some sort of normal during this pandemic, people are starting to dream about where they want to visit when international flights are open once more. So many countries are taking the right steps to keep people safe while opening their travel options and economy once more. It may be early to think about booking a ticket around the world, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t daydream, right?
So, when travel opens up again, whether it’s flights or a road trip across a continent with friends, you need to be prepared. You might need One Sure insurance for your van or car. You might need to save up for the class of flight you want for your trip. You may even need to consider the timing in getting yourself to the shops for new swimwear. You need a plan – and you need to have a list of places to visit as the world reopens! So, with that in mind, here are some of the places you should consider visiting when you’re ready to go!
- New Zealand. After witnessing how well NZ handled the pandemic, it’s definitely worth visiting there! It’s a wonderland of countryside, beaches and skiing, and you can rest assured that with the vineyards and delicious food, there is always something amazing to see and do. You can get your activities going in New Zealand, too, with snowboarding, kayaking, bungee jumping and – if you’re feeling extra cheesy – horseback riding on the beach.
- Australia. We’re really talking about dream places to go here, so we may as well be honest and say that Australia is somewhere you definitely want to visit when international travel is allowed once more. The Gold Coast is a beautiful place to visit, and you can’t go wrong with a tour around Kangaroo Island. Sure, there may be fires at points through the years, but the beauty, the people, the sheer immensity of the country is something you cannot miss.
- Greece. Italy may be next door, and it may be the place that was hit hard by the pandemic at first, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t go to Greece. The ancient history is just one reason to go, but the coves and bays are spectacular. The beaches are sheer perfection, and you can eat some of the freshest seafood around. No matter your tastes, you’ll find something you love.
- Scotland. It may not be far-flung, but Scotland has so much to offer. The natural beauty, the history, the culture – there is so much to see and do here, it’s hard to imagine that you won’t fall in love with her charms. Scotland is a hidden gem, but you can discover it if you truly want an escape.
- Croatia. In the European stakes, you have Croatia. If you’ve seen Game of Thrones, then Croatia will simply fascinate you! There are plenty of UNESCO-listed National Parks, museums, ruins and more. Croatia should be on your must-see list, and there is something fabulous that cannot be missed.
