England, land of hope and glory. It’s where the curvaceous green hills greet lilac and rosey meadows. It’s where blue skies and fresh air meet you in the countryside to keep you company. It’s where some of the most beautiful country lanes swoop and carve their way through the hills. This incredibly nation has brought so much to the world in the ways of music, literature, art and or course law and order. Every single modern country in the world, uses English common law. England is the ceptor of freedom and the symbol of innovation and style. More than likely you have seen many parts of this wonderful country in many travel shows. However one of it’s less mentioned parts if the south west. Not just any part of the south west, but the real south west where the coast resides. The rugged grey cliffs are blessed with an almost exotic light blue water. The stoic hills and fields are supplemented by white coastal towns that welcoming everyone to dine and explore. You must go to Cornwall of all places if you want the true south western experience.
Where to go, literally?
There simply is no excuse for not taking this kind of trip. If you are in Cornwall you cannot stay in one place. It’s an excellent place for truly living outdoors and on your own. You can achieve serenity and silence when you are using campervan hire cornwall. You are able to drive up onto a caravan field or park, and simply set up for the night. Cook your own meals, store your own cold beverages and be left alone to be by yourselves. You can go anywhere at anytime, be it to the seaside, a cafe, a field, a hill, a coastal lookout point etc.
The lost garden
England will surprise you with it’s beauty. It’s got a reputation for being wet and windy, which is true, but not all the time. If you are heading into Cornwall for the first time and doubt this, you should head over to The Lost Gardens Heligan. Some parts of this beautiful garden might trick you into think you had entered into a tropical rainforest. The water is filled with life, bright green vegetation, plenty of insects going about their business and nice water features. This is pleasantly interrupted by fields where sheep play and eat, along with greenhouses that grow wonderful plants and vegetables too.
Open sea theatre
What better way to experience a sunset than watching it as the backdrop to an open theatre? On the coast of gracious Cornwall, there is the Minack Theatre where performances are done in the open. Here you’ll find all kinds of plays but since you are in merry old England, Shakespeare is given his just dues. The seating is carved out of the rock with grassy patches acting as your cushions. Learn about the epic history of this truly unique theatre and enjoy the talented acting as a closing to your night.
There simply isn’t a more beautiful place in the world than in the English countryside. You must travel to the real south west which is of course Cornwall. It’s where the Celtic Sea greets the island and where you can enjoy a camping holiday.
