Yes I am finally on my way to Sri Lanka!!! When this article goes online, I am already in the plane to explore beautiful Sri Lanka.
It will be interesting to see the differences between my time in South India, where I visited a wedding, talked about weddings and did some volunteers work, and Sri Lanka. This will be probably also the first time that I will create some video content during my holiday, so I hope you would like to see this when it is finished.
For now there is nothing more than to share with you my plan for Sri Lanka. No idea if I manage to do everything or that it will be more or less or will be changed radically. But till that time stay tuned and this is what I have in mind.
Trip Plan
Day 1: Arrival Negombo
Day 2: Explore Negombo Fish Market and visit Colombo
Day 3: Move to Kandy and visit the Elephant Orphanage in between
Day 4: Day trip from Kandy to Sigiriya and Dambulla
Day 5: Train from Kandy to Ella and watch the beautiful tea fields
Day 6: Explore Ella and surroundings, including a hike up to Little Adam’s Peak
Day 7: Move to Kataragama for an evening safari and sleep in a tree house
Day 8: Morning safari and move to Mirissa
Day 9: Hopefully whale watching and a beach day
Day 10: Move to Galle
Day 11: Be back in the airport in the evening to fly back to London
